FUNDED IN 49 MINUTES?!
This is crazy. When we set out to make a card game, never in a million years would we have expected this turn response. It's incredibly overwhelming. We’ve been working diligently to respond to every question, comment, and box of Doomlings cookies being sent our way.
SPOTLIGHT: DINOLINGS
Right off the bat, we’d like to highlight the first of our Dinolings! These prehistoric little troublemakers are their own expansion pack, and will be included in the Black Box and Gold Box bundles!
- Dermal Armor (colorless) lets you discard a trait from your trait pile. It’s great to shed unwanted traits, especially negative points.
- Carnosaur Jaw is a Dominant trait (red) it requires you discard 2 red traits in order to play, but it’s worth a whopping 9 points.
- Egg Predation (purple) let’s you steal another Dinoling from an opponent’s trait pile!
- Pterosaur Wings (blue) let’s you play an additional trait that’s purple for that turn.
- Thagomizer (green) forces all players, including yourself, to discard 1 trait from their hand. It can be effective in situations where players gene pools are already low, and also helps you cycle through cards!
STRETCH GOALS
We have a fun set of challenges that are designed to grow the Doomlings community and ultimately allow us to upgrade all of the rewards you’re getting. How does this work?
- It’s predominantly based on you sharing Doomlings on social media over the next 30 days! The more you share, the more new backers come in, the more bonuses are unlocked!
- Bonuses include: shiny-material upgrades to every box, more Kickstarter Exclusive cards for every backer, Holographic dominant traits, linen finish to every card (making them air-glide when you slide them.) Plus, if we meet these goals, we’ll be adding even more bonuses!
- Challenges include fun things like "Post pictures of your pets on any social media platform with the hashtag #MyLittleDoomling” or simply invite your friends to join our Facebook Community. (That’s where we post allz the memez.)
As the community grows, and we increase the number of backers, everyone gets upgraded rewards and bonus content! So keep an eye on “Trophy Road” and share Doomlings with the world! (We've already unlocked our first three trophies!)
